            Carol Hegedus, the owner/artist of Handmade Tile Studio, specializes in creating handcrafted tiles that are inspired by nature -- in the shape of birds, flowers, leaves, and insects, etc.  Each mosaic style art tile is hand-cut from soft high-fire clay. Then it is dried, glazed with brilliant colors, and fired in a kiln up to four times.  The tiles are of the highest quality and artisanship and each is one-of-a-kind. Due to the nature of handmade ceramics, slight variations in size, color, or accents add to the charm of each piece.  All of the tiles are 3/16th inch thick and are weather tolerant.
