SUMMER CLASSES
You'll be cool and comfortable in my newly remodeled and air-conditioned studio! Create your own class - gather a group of 4-6 friends and have a fun time making mosaics together. The class organizer will receive a free gift.
Summer Tile Specials: (through September or until supplies are gone)
- $5 off when you tile the top of a wooden box.
- A special group of tiles are priced at $1 each.
- Many new designs are being created and will be offered at reduced prices during the summer months. Your feedback and suggestions on the new designs will be greatly appreciated!
If you're working on a project at home and need some of my beautiful handmade tiles, give me a phone call or email and make an appointment to purchase tiles at my studio. I'm here making tiles most of the time.
SATURDAY OPEN STUDIO DAYS
JULY 31 AUGUST 14 SEPTEMBER 11
Join others and work on a project from 9am-12noon -- make a framed mosaic, tile a cross, or decorate a clay pot. Tile your own table or I can order one for you. Pay for your supplies and the tiles you use. No additional class fee. Pre-registration is required and the group is limited to 6. Various size metal frames, the cross frame, and a limited number of tables will be available and custom sizes can be ordered ahead of time (requires 4 weeks lead time). A $20 fee, paid when you register, will hold your space; it will be credited toward the final cost of your project.
The following projects can be made for classes or during the Saturday Studio Days:
CREATE A FRAMED MOSAIC, CROSS, OR WOOD BOX: I stock a large selection of various sizes of metal frames, a metal cross and 2 sizes of wooden boxes for you to mosaic with tiles. Included in the project price are all the tiles you can fit into your project and the supplies you need to complete it.
DECORATE A CLAY POT: I do not stock clay pots so you need to bring one. It must be clean on the inside and outside and empty. Glazed or unglazed pots can be used (no plastics). Flat sided pots are the easiest to work with. Decorative tiles will be priced individually if you decorate a pot and you can select them according to your budget.
A registration fee of $20 will reserve your space for the open studio day. This fee will be credited to the price of your project.
If you need to cancel, your $20 will be refunded if you cancel 7 days prior to the class. If you cancel less than 7 days prior, your fee will not be refunded or credited. No refunds or credits for no-shows.
Note: Most people are able to complete their project by the end of class time. If you work slower and are not done, it may be necessary for you to finish your project at home. If this is the case, instructions and supplies will be provided.
